Floor Drain Installation
Our task was to assist our customer in renovating an older building that predated their ownership into an area where the palleted liquids could be stored. This involved creating a system wherein any spills or leaks could be managed.

We located the area of the existing floor that was to be modified for any unknown obstructions with ground penetrating radar. Once cleared, the excavations began with the saw cutting and removal of the old concrete for proper disposal. The soil was then excavated to a depth of two feet, compacted and tested for load bearing.
An 8" Duraslot drain system was set in place and tied into the preexisting drain line.

A gravel base along with rebar supports were installed. A concrete pour followed with a smooth finish.
The area was finished with many praises from our customers' reps.
